Thomas B Johnson

Thomas B. Johnson, age 72, of Duncansville, died unexpectedly at home on Monday, June 28, 2021. He was born March 10, 1949 in Indiana, PA, son of the late J. Ernest and Frances L. (Longwill) Johnson. He married Annette M. Hursh, who preceded him in death on March 1, 2010.

Surviving are two sisters: Karen L. Gardner (Gerald) of Duncansville, and Patricia A. Bongiorno (Joseph) of Sarasota, FL; and several nieces and nephews.

Tom was a 1967 graduate of Claysburg-Kimmel High School. He retired from Yellow Freight in 2008. He was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Church.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11am on Fri., July 2, 2021 at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Duncansville, officiated by Monsignor Robert Saly.  Interment will take place at Alto-Reste Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Central PA Humane Society (1837 E. Pleasant Valley Blvd., Altoona, PA 16602).
