Michael Irvin McIntyre, age 63, passed away unexpectedly at his residence in Freedom Township, East Freedom on Friday, June 19, 2026. He was born February 12, 1963 in Altoona, son of James W. McIntyre and the late Carole F. (Richardson) Reed.
Surviving is his father; his step-mother, M. Kathleen McIntyre; nephews, Stephen and Dustin; niece, Ashly; great-nephew, Kaden; great-niece, Serenity; and a step-sister and step-brother.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Stephen McIntyre, and grandparents, Irvin and Margaret (Flegal) McIntyre and John and Virginia Richardson.
Michael was a graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. He served four years in the PA Army National Guard. He formerly was employed at Wendt’s Auto Repair, McLanahan Corp., and Curry Supply.
Mike was a faithful member of the Duncansville VFW.
Visitation with family and friends will be held from 3-7pm on Tues., June 30, 2026 at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., Duncansville.
