Louise D. Harvey, age 70, of Duncansville, died Saturday, June 3, 2023 at UPMC Altoona. She was born May 11, 1953 in Oakland, CA, daughter of the late Harry M. and Virginia M. (Spiridigliozzi) Trauger. She married Leslie J. “Les” Harvey on February 19, 1972 in Altoona.
She is survived by her husband, Les; three children: Gene Harvey (Misty), James Harvey, and Kim Dodson (Jeff), all of Duncansville; 5 grandchildren: Emilee Rhine (Ben), Gina Ott (Justin), Alissa Harvey (Dan), Kailey Smith (Kevin), and Jace Dodson; three great-grandchildren: Brantley Rhine, Lukas Rhine, and Leah Ott; two brothers: John W. Trauger and Martin H. Trauger; two sisters: Diana L. Trauger and Glenda L. Brantner; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jody Lynn Harvey in 2013.
Louise was a 1971 graduate of Altoona High School. She retired from Imler’s Poultry after working 22 years in sales.
She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed doing puzzlebooks and holding weekly Sunday dinners at her home. She is also survived by her beloved dog, Addie.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 from 12-2pm and from 4 until the 6pm funeral service at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., Duncansville. Pastor Bradley Runkle will officiate. Interment will take place at Carson Valley Cemetery, Duncansville.
