Lisa M Brubaker

Hey you! I’m with my daddies now!

Lisa M. Brubaker, age 59, of Newry, received her angel wings in Heaven on Wednesday morning, October 6, 2021. She was born September 26, 1962 in Altoona, daughter of Sandra L. (Conrad) Brown and the late Kenneth E. Brubaker.

Surviving are her mother, Sandy Brown of Newry; 8 siblings: Deborah (Steve) Mellott of Roaring Spring, Janee Price of Newry, Michelle (William) Bell of Newry, A. Michael (Wendy) Brown of Cherry Tree, Holly Bookhamer of Newry, Matthew Brown of Newry, Gabriele Brown of Newry, and Heaven Brown of Newry; a special aunt, Phyllis Brubaker; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her daddies: Kenneth E. Brubaker and Albert M. “Junie” Brown; and her grandparents: Ernest and Doris Brubaker.

Lisa as a graduate of the ACEL Program of Altoona.

She enjoyed going for walks, sitting out front of their house in her wheelchair watching the traffic, going to the beach with her family, and the many trips to Wal-Mart with her mother, Sandy.

Everyone that knew Lisa knew how special she was and Lisa also left a special place in everyone’s hearts.

Friends will be received on Sunday, October 10, 2021 from 2-6pm, immediately followed by a Celebration of Life and time of sharing, at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., Duncansville. Interment will take place at Carson Valley Cemetery, Duncansville.
