Kurt E VonColln

Kurt E. VonColln, age 52, of Altoona, died unexpectedly on Thursday afternoon, February 4, 2021 at UPMC Altoona. He was born June 26, 1968 in Philadelphia, a son of the late Frank R. and Kathleen A. (McElroy) VonColln. He married Renee M. Bolling in November of 2001 in Philadelphia.

He is survived by his wife, Renee Bolling of Altoona; three children: Angel Campbell of Philadelphia, Jasmine VonColln of Altoona, and Kurt VonColln, Jr. of Altoona; a granddaughter Lucy Rose; a brother, Frank VonColln; and a sister Colleen VonColln of Altoona.

Kurt was a 1985 graduate of Central High School in Philadelphia and attended La Salle University in Philadelphia. Kurt was proud to serve his country in the US Navy. He worked for Dean Patterson Chevrolet and then Courtesy Motors in Altoona for many years.

Kurt enjoyed building model airplanes. He loved his children.

Friends and family may gather on Saturday, February 13, 2021 from 1:00pm until the start of the Celebration of Life service at 2:00pm, with Military Honors by the Blair County Veterans Honor Guard, at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 1218 4th Ave., Duncansville.
