Debora A (Ritchey) Lutz

Debora A. ‘Debbie’ Lutz, age 73, a resident of Garvey Manor, Hollidaysburg, formerly of Duncansville, died Thursday, April 30, 2026 at UPMC Altoona . She was born June 26, 1952 in Altoona, daughter of the late Fred and Lois (Hite) Ritchey. She married Ernest R. Lutz Jr., who preceded her in death in 2002.

Surviving are two daughters, Misty Miller (Don) of Hollidaysburg and Erin Orr (Shawn) of Sidman; grandchildren: “D” Miller, Erik Lutz, and Riley Renee Miller; four brothers: Fred Ritchey (Becky) of Williamsburg, Tim Ritchey (Lois) or Roaring Spring, Jeff Ritchey (Winnie) of East Freedom, and Kevin Ritchey (Theresa) in Oklahoma; a sister-in-law, Kim Butler (Ken) of Martinsburg; and special aunts, numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ann Ritchey, and a brother, Monte Dru Ritchey.

Debbie was a 1970 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. She was a dedicated day-care worker and loved children. She enjoyed listening to Elvis music and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.

She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 from 10am until the Noon funeral service at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., Duncansville. Father Allen Zeth will officiate. Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery, Altoona.
