Shirley R Focht

Shirley R. Focht, age 91, of Hollidaysburg, passed away on Friday morning, July 6, 2018, at UPMC Altoona. She was born on Jan. 15, 1927 in Altoona, a daughter of the late Carl and Mae (Banks) Miller. She was the wife of the late Eugene F. Focht, who preceded her in death on March 8, 2018.

She is survived by a son Walter (Patty) Focht of Cresson; a daughter Rebecca (Paul) Mudge of Duncansville; a grandson Joshua (Cindy) Focht of Roaring Spring; a granddaughter Michelle (Gregg) Dyess of Maryland; and 5 great-grandchildren: Dylan, Peyton, Weston, Treyton and Keaton.

She was preceded in death by a son Doug; three sisters: Kay, Vonnie and Veve; and two brothers: Carl and Walter.

Shirley attended Puzzletown Road Bible Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, being active in church and Sunday school, and her quiet reading time.

A memorial service will be held at 11am on Thurs., July 12, 2018 at Puzzletown Road Bible Church, Pastor Jon Gross officiating. Interment will take place at Blair Memorial Park.
