Marcie Brode Obituary

Marcie Ann Brode, age 49, of Clearfield, formerly of Juniata, died unexpectedly Sunday evening, May 5, 2019 at Penn Highlands Hospital, Clearfield. She was born Sept. 11, 1969 in Altoona, a daughter of Sherry (Janosik) Warner and the late Harry McGraw.

Survived by her mother Sherry Warner of Altoona; a son Michael D. Brode, Jr. of California and Taylor Finochio of Altoona; 4 sisters: Tammy Bonsell, Dawn Frischkorn, Daphne Warner and Denise Himes, all of Altoona; 3 grandchildren; and her partner Jeff Strasser of Clearfield.

She was preceded in death by a daughter Brandie Lynn Brode in 2016.

Marcie was a 1987 graduate of Altoona High School. She enjoyed drawing, painting and working with ceramics.

There will be no public viewing. Services were held privately by the family.
