James M. Sensabaugh, Jr., age 70, of Duncansville, passed Saturday afternoon, July 20, 2019, at UPMC Altoona. He was born September 4, 1948 in Altoona, son of the late James M., Sr. and Hattie (Keener) Sensabaugh. He married his high school sweetheart, Betty Lou Gardner, on Sept. 23, 1967.
Survived by his wife, Betty Lou Sensabaugh; three children: Tracy R. Leonard (husband Brian), Brad J. Sensabaugh (wife Jessica) and Dane R. Sensabaugh; the sunshine of his life were his three grandchildren: Tara and Matthew Leonard and Braden “Little Fella” Sensabaugh; a sister Eileen “Jackie” DelBaggio (husband Jeff); brother-in-law Frank Gardner (wife Cindy); special friends Alan and Paulette Davis; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister Frances Shaffer and her husband Larry.
Jim was a 1967 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. He retired from PennDOT as a heavy equipment operator, with 31 years of service. He was a member of Hick’s United Methodist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping, but most of all, spending time with his family. Jim was a loving, devoted husband, father and grandfather.
Friends will be received on Sat., July 27, 2019 from 10am until the 11am Memorial Service, officiated by Rev. Rich Morris, at Hick’s United Methodist Church.
