Daniel Sclafani Obituary

Daniel J. Sclafani, age 76, of Hollidaysburg, formerly of New York, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at his residence. He was born September 3, 1942 in Brooklyn, New York, son of the late Daniel C. and Veronica (Yokitis) Sclafani.

He is survived by two sisters: Mary King of Hollidaysburg and Carol DeMasters of York.

Daniel was a US Army veteran, serving from 1963 until 1969, where he was stationed in Fort Hood, TX. He retired from New York Transit, where he worked in the subway system.

There will be no public viewing. A funeral Mass was celebrated privately by family. Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery, Nanty Glo.
