Carol Marie White-Fowler, age 82, Altoona formerly of McKee, died peacefully on Sunday morning, May 12, 2019, at her residence, surrounded by her children. She was born May 18, 1936 in Coupon, daughter of the late Florence Conrad.
Surviving are her three children: Kathleen Marie O’Shea (John), Thomas Michael White and Amy Cherisse White; two grandchildren: Sarah Elizabeth and Maura Carol; a sister Patricia Ann Phillips; a niece Kelly Ann Phillips; and an extended family of friends and relatives.
Her caregivers, specifically Missy and Jolene, from Home Health Agency Palliative Care, were always there to help.
Carol was a 1954 graduate of Altoona High School. She was a well-recognized and accomplished Tupperware saleswoman, having founded her sales group “The Caroliers” from 1972-1999. She was also owner and proprietor of the Stonehouse Inn in McKee. In addition, Carol was also a drug and alcohol counselor and worked at various group homes. She enjoyed her work, and took pride in her family. She was also a lover of animals, domestic and wild.
She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church.
Burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery, Coupon, at the privacy of the family.
