Billie Ann Dean, age 72, of Duncansville, died Tuesday evening, February 26, 2019, at UPMC Shadyside, Pittsburgh, following a brief battle with cancer. She was born January 27, 1947 in Uniontown, a daughter of the late William and Ann (Barath) Brady.
Survived by two sons: Charles M. Dean, Jr. and Brian S. Dean, both of Duncansville; a granddaughter Amanda Dean of Altoona; a great-granddaughter Lily Dean; a brother James Brady of Brownsville; two sisters: Maureen Foster of Milton, WV and Rosalie Jenkins of Brownsville; and several nieces and their families.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Bruce Brady.
Billie was a graduate of Fairchild-Georges High School and attended phlebotomy training at Uniontown Hospital. She retired as a phlebotomist from Lab Corp in 2017.
She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Church, Duncansville. She loved gardening and spending time with her family.
Friends will be received on Friday, March 1, 2019 from 5-8pm at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 1218 4th Ave., Duncansville. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 2 at 11am at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Duncansville, officiated by Monsignor Robert Saly. Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery, Altoona.
