Adam M James

Adam Michael James, a loving husband, father and son, age 47, of Roaring Spring, passed away on Sunday, February 17, 2019, after a brief illness.

He was born November 2, 1971 in Altoona, son of Robert and Alice James.

Surviving are his wife, Cindy; three children: Andrew, Michael and Adacyn, all of Roaring Spring; his parents; four siblings: Robert James Jr. (Holly), Lori James-Link (Jim), Jeff James (Corinna) and Cheryl Abbott (Jim); numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and a special cousin, Debbie.

Adam was a 1989 graduate of Altoona High School. He worked for Global Tel Link as a field service manager. He touched the lives of many people throughout his years. He was a scout leader for 13 years and really enjoyed sharing the scout experience with his boys. Since 2006, Adam served as a deacon and worked with the youth for the Pleasant Valley Church of Christ in Altoona.

He was an avid Star Wars fan and enjoyed racing RC cars. What Adam enjoyed most was spending time with his family, going on adventures, watching his daughter dance and watching his children participate in multiple sports that they played throughout the years.

Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, 2019, at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., Duncansville, and from 10 until the 11 a.m. service Friday, Feb. 22, 2019, at Pleasant Valley Church of Christ, 514 S. Seventh St., Altoona, Pastors Terry Clyde and Jerry Stumpf officiating.
